I put these on my rolling soup can. Very good tires, excellent traction on all surfaces, firm ride, not much road noise. About $100 per tire, installed. I'm not easy on my tires either; these are well suited for rough conditions.

From Ratwell, interesting, because that's what Schwab has available (195)...I lucked out I guess:

"So mounting a 185R14 tire to a 5" wide rim isn't so bad after all but the 195R14 tire is probably a better choice if you have a 68-70 bus with 5" rims."

I put on the cooper srm II about 1.5 years ago and have been happy with their performance so far.

Cooper makes nice tires.

yeah I just put a set on my honda element - they make a nice tire and tend to a little less pricey as well which saves a little cash for other things.

I went with the Hankook RA08s. A bit spendy, but so far they've been worth it.
