Trouble getting brake drum off?

This works for rusted-on composite drums without the lug studs sticking through.
Later Type 3's use lug bolts, yet have the removeable drums like the post 1970 buses. Once you have removed the little 6mm retaining screws, apply the brakes firmly, start engine and put in first gear, then let out the clutch. The hub will turn. The drum will stay put. Once you hear the scrape, you know the drum has released its rusty grip from the hub. Shut off engine, leave it in gear, release the brakes and go take off your drum.
