I too am plagued by a pop on decelerate. I though I had it fixed when I replaced my HE's when Colin was here, and I did enjoy a drive with less pops, but they linger still. I believe though my issue id lean mixture, Colin pointed that out last year, we tried to adjust my mixture but the frigging Weber is mounted backwards, and the mixture adjust is one inch from the fan shroud! Colin tried it with a dime and his smaller hands, but it was a tight move for sure. I am changing the carb out but until then, I believe I will try and adjust the mixture again this week.

Because the throttle linkage is on that side. I didn't do it, the PO did. I just live with it until I change it. Ya wanna fight about it? See picture, no screws on the left, front or right side of the carburetor. A problem of epic proportion.skin daddio wrote:weber

Nope, I have two, one from the Bus and one from the junkyard. The Bus ne looks more sturdy, so I will be rebuilding it. However, one cannot have too many Solexes on the shelf, PM me how much you want for one.skin daddio wrote:do you want to buy a couple solexes? i've got a half dozen for the dp engine.
