Post up any cool accessory you might have. I scored these cool earmuffs a couple of years ago:

What? Man, I don't think I would want to cover the air intakes except for a short bit when warming up.

I didn't buy them to use. More of a conversation piece than anything else.

That's cool, I've seen the pic of those, but never an actual set.

Strange thing is, I bought from a dude in Arizona.

Makes total sense. Back in the 60's, Arizona was covered with glaciers.

I was browsing TS this morning and came across this:
I have one of these I scrounged out of a parts bus, but it's blue, instead of white. It looks identical to this one except for the color. I'll get some pics of it one of these days.
Anyone have an idea if this a VW accessory or just a aftermarket thing dealers sold to folks with campers and impatient colons?

Sorry for it being so long before I saw this. I believe that was an after market item. We had one of those to use in a Sears popup trailer when I was a kid.

Thanks Russ!....That's what I was thinking too. On another note, this is my latest score:
From my research, it's a late 50's Beetle kit. Very cool and complete. I've always wanted one of these kits, I'm glad I stopped at that rummage sale!
