The Heironimus Woodstock Bus -- where is it now?

Post by JLT » Sat Jul 08, 2017 10:06 am

(I've also posted this on the Samba, but I wanted to get the bandwidth as wide as possible.)

I'm sure you remember the pictures of the bus that Bob Hieronimus painted for the rock group Light ... its picture was everywhere after it was photographed at the Woodstock festival in 1969.

Now the artist and the original owner are looking for it, in hopes of restoring it. The Baltimore Sun wrote a story on the topic, which can be found at:

So, VW community, let's help them out. Who can give them clues as to where this bus ended up? Somebody on this forum has at least a piece of the puzzle. Together, we may have enough to put it together and give this iconic bus back to the world.
