A lovely little piece that shows Britain can still do things right.

I want to see that when I have time. Stirling Moss was a serious competitor against my uncle.
He drove a D-Type Jag at leMans 1954, but actually did his best racing with a Mercedes and a Maserati under him.
My quick look at the initial frame showed a Mercedes star?

I don't pay enough attention to F1 anymore... I only know that Hamilton has been quite successful; who he races for, I have no clue. It is a Mercedes-based car though, if I recall. More interesting by far is Moss' old car. The comparison is amazing.

We had a W196 Mercedes straight-eight at Hill&Vaughn before taking it up to the Monterey Historic Race in 1981 when Phil did a couple of demonstration hot laps. Remarkable sound.

That was the year we blew up our customer's 1928 4CM Maserati because the Hill & Vaughn engine guy forgot to install the coiled wire in the oil pump inlet hose and it sucked shut at speed.
