Apparently this is a well-known phenomenon. I found it absolutely captivating. Be sure to have your sound turned up.

Right, but that kinda goes against its being a SELF-synchronizing metronome array. Hence, no fair.

Yah, That's true. That foam board helped.

It's also true that I have no idea of how to re-write a topic title.

Still, it's pretty neat to watch. Most people wind up cheering for the underdog at the extreme right, willing him on.
