Early vote

Post by Sylvester » Fri Nov 02, 2012 1:13 pm

Not bad, waited 15 minutes and out. Lots of Republicans ran unopposed here in Georgia.

Take that Communism!

Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

There was a line outside to vote. I drove up in my hippie van and showed them my military ID. They had a big sign outside that said please don't discuss politics here. I read where 1.3 million Georgians had voted before Friday so far. So 1.299999999 million Republicans went before me. Heh.

Take heart, Red State Turncoat, you are on the side of history, of decency, of the future.

I'm next door in Alabama. I vote at an elementary school in a very poor urban area. I can't remember ever waiting at all.

I am in a self-imposed blackout :drunken: :drunken: :drunken: how's Florida doing with their nasty felon governor trying to disenfranchise voters? How about Ohio? Is that Husted doode behaving? It is a clear abdication of any and all credibility for one party to be trying to jam The Civil Right of this land, to vote.
