I agree. It is time we forgive him of his past sins and admit that his new album is really full of bangers.

Check out Steel Panther if you haven't already .. while the kids (and possibly wife) aren't around because some of it's extremely "Not Safe For Work" .. hilarious as it is. They're like an over-the-top Spinal Tap-esque take on '80s hair metal.

Back on the "listening to right now" theme, Lush reunited and have an EP coming later this month. The new single sounds like they've picked up right where they left off 20 years ago:

Gonna see them here in Portland on the 19th. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Savages! From the band's website: "This album is to be played loud in the foreground."

EDIT: thought better about that last vid as the is a family friendly enviroment, but do check out the track F**KERS.

Drove down to Portland a couple weeks ago to see them at the Wonder Ballroom. One of the best rock performances I've seen in a LONG while.

This video of Anna Puu -- a Finnish singer I've come to enjoy -- performing some Patsy Cline songs with rockabilly band Mudville 56 at a fundraiser in Helsinki last year. Oddly, she recorded her new album in Nashville...

Score of a game from 1999, 3D space-strategy. The mechanics and the haunting music make it stand out.

Aaron Lee Tasjan . . . maybe music is making a comeback.

PBS Bluegrass check out the guitar jam (19:00:00) in "The Dangerous Kind,” good for the soul.

I've been working my way through my passed father in law's record collection. Tonight it was Crosby, Stills & Nash, 1969.

Holy crap they were terrible early on. I think you had to be high just to put up with that.

Well, when they hit harmony, it was amazing. But the rest of the time... ugh.

That is a most excellent sound they have going there, thank you Andrew. The video makes me wish I would have caught more of her set when I saw her open for American Football this year. Did you see any of Noah's stuff when he was gaining popularity in Seattle years ago?

I listen to KEXP a lot so yeah, I caught wind of Noah Gunderson as they're great at showcasing new and local artists that aren't on the major labels. Never caught them live though. He's one of those artists that I enjoy but never really glommed onto enough to truly get into.
