Working On My List
Someday, I'll post my "bus-to-do list" but I crossed off two items this weekend.
I fixed a broken wire in the passenger's side tail light assembly and now my brake light works again.
Also, my driver's side headlight was out of adjustment because one of the black plastic anchors that fits in the headlight bucket had popped out. The adjustment screw would just spin and spin. So I took it all out, treated the rust with sandpaper and paint, and repaired it. Now, I'm just waiting for dark so I can aim the light beams.

if i wrote up my own list, i've been afraid that i'd get a bit overwhelmed. then again, it might help to organize my work- i'll just break it down by categories, then at least it won't seem so bad (maybe).
i've been keeping a notebook to chronicle things i have done so far, or at least begun. and i've got another notebook (nearly full) that covers what i need/think i need/would like/dream of for the bus. it's getting a bit confusing now, so i probably should re-write it all in some semblance of order.
many items on your list are on mine, as well. good luck and happy mechanicking to you.

right now, mine's pretty short "get bus to run reliably to go camping" ... of course that has so far entailed quite a bit; currently the engine is out, plan is weekend after next to tackle the leaking main seal, and leaking seals btwn the trans and the axle.

It's always a competition, isn't it?
Well, mine is super short. I don't care. I'm not afraid to show it. I'm rather proud of it. I have one item:
Fix the damn bus.
