Wow - that was inspiring! I know it's an old thread and I'm a newbie to the forum and still have a lot to learn (who IS this lady who keeps popping up and budding in?!) but anyway, it was neat to watch the transformation. Have you done any more work on the interior? That roof rack looks great and I especially love the pop top work. Your MIL is mighty talented.

My bus - that we start working on tomorrow - hasn't been driven in essentially 21 years. Yikes! It was started up in 2000 (after I think installing new battery and presumably fuel lines and maybe a few other basics when a car's sat a long time), driven around the block, determined to have transmission issues, then sat undriven since then! Poor thing! It needs some interior work too so I love seeing what others have chosen to do. Has to have new flooring but the original furniture, curtains and pop top are all still there and in relatively good condition considering. Can't wait to camp by myself in the woods with a pile of books and blankets and no one to answer to! Unless I break down in which case I'll be answering "here! Here!"
