Took apart the exhaust and found this. Fortunately, Colin and I had rebuilt the exhaust system in April. So, i was intimately familiar with it, and the new bolts with copper nuts made it a breeze. Well, maybe not a breeze, but I didn't have to bring out the big guns-grinder and dremel.

Great workspace in Stuart, Florida, at a good friend's house. We got the piece brazed and reassembled within the day.

Thanks, Colin! Really, when you told me that you would drive this bus anywhere, you sealed my fate. I had an incredible experience and, as you know, the bus itself provides an introduction to some terrific people. And, you are sure going to learn about your bus by driving it that distance. Next trip-out west!
