valve cover gasket glued to head.

Post by mentalQtip » Tue Apr 23, 2013 11:09 am

Took off the valve covers off a picknpull engine first time and the cork gaskets were glued to the head(not the covers) with some very tough/hard stuff that is not coming off very well. I've tried a razor blade and it really is not doing the job. Any idea off solvents or other methods off getting this stuff off?

Thanks

Carb cleaner? Brake cleaner? Paint stripper?
