For sale is a used but good useable condition clutch disc and pressure plate for late 80s Vanagon. This was removed from my 1989 Syncro Westy. Should work on any 87 or newer Vanagon. Sachs made in Germany is the brand I see on them. The only reason I replaced mine is the input shaft and pilot bearing and flywheel seals were replaced and in doing so, even though my old parts were fine, I had the tech replace them anyway so in a few years I would not have to do clutch work again. These should have plenty of life left on them and per the tech that did my seal work, he said they were fine . I figured I would carry around with me as a spare set just in case so I kept them. I want to free up some space in my garage so am selling them cheap to someone that might want them as a spare or needs to do some clutch work on the cheap. $24.95 + postage for the set.

Do you have the diameters? 220mm etc? Should be stamped on the PP cover. This may help universal applicability.amishman wrote:For sale is a used but good useable condition clutch disc and pressure plate for late 80s Vanagon.

I see the #'s 228 stamped on the pressure plate.Amskeptic wrote:Do you have the diameters? 220mm etc? Should be stamped on the PP cover. This may help universal applicability.amishman wrote:For sale is a used but good useable condition clutch disc and pressure plate for late 80s Vanagon.

Does that help?
Does this mean it is 228mm and fits more than just late 80s Vanagon?
Thanks
