Itinerant Air-Cooled

My '81 Vanagon is missing the metal piece that goes across under the dash above the glove box. This is the piece that the plastic glove box latch bolts to...unfortunately, my poor lil' Westy is missing it---need to either copy one or buy one...please help if you can.
