Woo hoo! Very nice!

Two questions, though.

What's up with the exhaust?

Is the sunroof factory or aftermarket?

Regardless, it's a sweet little ride. Congrats!

Congrats. Hope this doesn't cut into engine-rebuild-help! :blackeye:
Sunroof is aftermarket. Stock was metal. Maybe a stinger exhaust?

The exhaust is a single quiet pack, a stinger comes straight out the middle. Pretty common aftermarket cheap replacement muffler. The sunroof is deifnitely aftermarket, no Bug ever came with a glass sunroof.

Nice lookin Bug!! My search continues here in the salty Northeast for a decent Bug to rip around in.

Hiya Gypsy,

Way to go!

Speaking as a Bugowner myself, welcome to this particular corner of the fraternity. Nothing like having a Type 2 and a Type 1 cluttering up the driveway. You and VWB can share notes on your 1302s. We ought to get the PDX Bugs together sometime.

Shades of Jimmy Doolittle! The flying engine that killed a number of its pilots. Fast (very fast) but super dangerous.
