Various bug convert. questions PROJECT ALMOST DONE!!!

Post by IFBwax » Sat Aug 31, 2013 1:23 pm

1976 Super Vert

1. Where do the outside rear seatbelts mount to? I can't seem to find the holes. Could it be to the seat frame bolts?
2. Is the passenger side wiper supposed to be shorter than the driver's side?

We are 90% done. Paint is done, Engine/clutch is done, Interior and top is done. It's just the little things left. Even the heater and hood latch safety catch work!!!! Gas gauge and speedo work.

What's left:

Rear seatbelts, finding some decent front turn signals, Chrome molding all around, front passenger seat belt bolt.. (tough finding that little critter) new visors, window scrapers all around, new shift knob, hold down catches for top, snaps for boot (why weren't they included???) stereo and last but not least.. new top for window washer spray bottle.

If you can offer any advice on last remaining, let me know!!!
The best navigators aren't sure where they're going until they get there. And then they're still not sure.

!
1) Look along the sill under the seat cushion area for a big captive nut/hole.
2) You have the curved windshield, right? The only determination of wiper length is to miss the seal at straight up. You can be pretty sure that many people stick whatever blade is available on there because they wait until its raining to realize . . .
