Class, hush a minute, Mr. vwlover77 has something to say.
Well, gee, I thought I was kinda saying it without actually saying it, if you know what I mean, but probably not so I'll just slink on out of this thread now, thanks! :cyclopsani:
Colin,
vwlover77 has made an excellent point. His original post said far more than any subsequent explanation or description would. Give in to your imagination on this one.

I just realized something, I might have already been a good participant in this..Before I even got out of bed this am..I say might,,,cause I'm not sure if peace was on my mind at the time....Um, well, seeing I came close to participating without knowing,,,maybe I will do it right later today...

This couple is organizing a demonstration where everyone has an orgasm on December 22 while thinking about World Peace.

I will be curious if they see any changes in their data.

Like I mentioned in another post, in "What the Bleep do we know?" they mention 4000 people going to DC to meditate on peace, and noticed a 25% drop in crime in DC during that summer. They say there are other test to confirm.....
The couple on the Global Orgasm site might not be as far out there as first thought.

Who remembers this?
I never did check to see if they measured any change.

I don't see a connection between an orgasm and peace. I guess 'cause I'm a male. We're so damned uh, primitive.
A man said to the universe, "Sir I exist! "However," replied the universe, "the fact has not created in me a sense of obligation."

"Let me be perfectly clear" "[...] And so that was just a example of a new senator, you know, making what is a political vote as opposed to doing what was important for the country." Barry Sotero

Someone should take the search button away from Steve again. Kidding! :-)

There still is no explanation why other things and names can be going back to 2006, but a search on Ron Paul will only get you back two weeks.

Maybe this is test, sorta like the Birtha thing, they know the answer, but they won't tell me.
I really doubt they did it to prevent us from finding it.
I am going to place my bets on this.
They were getting way too many Internet users stumbling upon the site because of the number of people who search for info on Ron Paul or they were getting hit with spam over it.

So invent an explanation? Is that the tactic? :geek:

Like I said, I was just jacking you up.

I've found myself thinking about outsiders, maybe even politicians, stumbling across the forum to read our debates. I believe, and I would hope, that our debates are some of the most thoughtful and balanced debates on the web. Air-cooled VW's are just far enough away from a special political interest for everyone to come here with the same convictions. We're a pretty good cross-section of American life.
