ac/chris, agree with you; pretty rare to have a 1 term Pres. That said, if the Dem's come up with a solid centrist, I think they have a shot. We need someone to convert the independents that voted for trump.

FWIW - I agree for the reasons the House brought impeachment charges, but as far as the election, I think it (the impeachment process) will backfire.

Well, 6 weeks later Im guessing that the news cycle of whatever that was called will not be the issue in November.

Firing the CDC China liaison might be, though.

When the leader of the free world can’t voice his opinion, does yours matter?

The leader of the free world can't voice his opinion? Who claims that?
After he has spewed 17,000 certified lies, the question should be who left is listening to him?

Sarcasm is not defined as lying. If folks can't (or won't) read between the lines when Trump tosses sarcasm ones way that is their fault. No one else. He' accomplished more in 4 years than any previous president has in 8 thus far. Plenty of presidents in the past have talked the talk but never walked the walk. One that comes to mind....Reagan.

He's managed to have done much with SCOTUS backing too boot. He recently leveled the playing field in the 9th circuit court. The court was 11 majority liberal now it is 3. And he's slated to fill nearly 6 more before election time in that circuit. Long over due IMO. Not many are even aware of it or the long term ramifications it will have.

I do not identify as a Republican or Democrat. Both parties are an issue. The fix?

Term limits. You'd never get Biden to even bring it up. He's part of that problem and not part of the solution. He's proven that with his 47+ year record.

Feel better now, Hardtop?

I agree with your idea of term limits. For that matter, doctors should have eight-year limits on terms of practice. Airline pilots should have six years. Firefighters should have two-year limits. That way, we'd have fresh blood coming in all the time, and they wouldn't get entrenched in their practice.
