"Killed by us" I'll go with. Tragic consequence of war. "Butchered" is quite another matter, with unmistakable connotations that are absolutely not true.

A senseless war for no reason other than "personal" revenge! Oh yeah, the war will "pay for in self" to phony "weapons of mass destruction" . Criminal government actions......Now we are again down this path/steepslope for no reason other than a crazy man as President and a congress of do-nothings!
