I wait for journalists to please connect the dots and call out the facts, but they again seem more interested in breathless gossip gotcha. We Americans need to have deeper analyses. Sure, the cable news pundits will get all breathless on TV and try to outwit each other, but we need desperately to see our history. Iran Contra, birthday cakes for ayatollahs, secret deals behind Jimmy Carter's back, surreptitious war crimes against Cambodia and Laos, the list of true horrendous malfeasance is a long one and mostly republican (sorry, facts are facts). Where is the news here in America? Why did I read this first in the Guardian?

I confess, had to look up the definition of inured.

This administration has no clue of what public service really means. Of all of the administrations that have been in office since I have been politically aware ... so say the past 30 years ... regardless of whether I agreed with them or not - regardless of their party affiliation - I always felt that deep down in their hearts, they were doing what they felt was best for this country. This guy has no clue. At the very least, he could learn how to tie a tie correctly...
