I am watching this with my fingers crossed. If I can learn how to help keep a site running smoothly. . . . I'll do it.

I'm here to read your writing, Colin. I always like finding an interesting writer.
As far as the website is concerned, good luck. I guess it depends on how you want to go about it. There is a site called the Westfalia Owner's Website, http://www.westfalia.org/ that is heavily edited by the moderator... to the point that all discussion is inhibited. I guess that works when someone is trying to compile a 'book' of tips, but most of them end up being the opinion of one person, the moderator. On the other hand we know that things can spiral out of control in looser forums. How to control the negativity... that is the question. You are on the road, and busy, so I hope you can find the time to write some stories... but it is more important that you are helping us amateur mechanics. Have a good summer.

I'm working on being able to click on the picture to bring a page with just the pic and it's direct URL in the address bar. Then you would be able to post a pic from this site. Otherwise, use it to posta pic you or someone has hosted somwhere else.

I like open dialogue. I can handle groups of people conversing with each other about whatever it is that interests them.Birdibus wrote:

Ya think grown ups can read subject headers that interest them
and skip over the ones they are not interested in?
It is that simple.
I love a spirited argument that can follow essential kindergarten etiquette, challenge the opinion but not the person delivering it.
Debate and discussion is a damn good way to learn whether you are the teacher or the student. I like to learn and I like to be challenged.
This site might be an opportunity to test my own moderator skills :smt004
