Wanted to buy: one late bay sliding door. Glass and other mechanisms are not required, I just want a nice rust free sliding door that needs paint but no welding or extensive body work.

I will check I think the 73 extra looks good but how do I get it to you. are you going to Maupin? Or I could send it on the train.

Thanks for the reply. I am in fact going to Maupin this year. If it's a complete unit I could theoretically swap it out right at the campsite. Then again you probably don't want to take my old one with you, so ill think about that some more.

You know, I will have the full length roof rack on the bus again. I bet I could get it up there amongst the rest of the supplies for the journey home.

My current one needs extensive metal replacement around the entire window frame, which I don't want to pony up the $$ for if I can swap in a good rust free one instead.

if you want to do a canvas of yards in eugene [the three hour cruise] i'd tour with you though not in june. i don't do june in the willamette valley. if it works out, you can strip your door of what's good, and recycle same day for cash at schnitzers.

:bounce: obviously ill be over the moon if we can swap it at Maupin, thank you. keep me posted on the condition when you get a chance to take a closer look,
then maybe PM me what you'd like for it and ill make sure im prepared for it come Maupin time.

I don't have much worth trading in terms of early bay stuff unless you need a set of deluxe trim and related hardware or a spare set of powdercoated white steelies.
Im perfectly happy trading good ol american currency for a nice slider. =)

Let's hold off on trucking the sliding door out there for Maupin. Sorry for the late notice but I just recently remembered our discussion on this and am starting to get my list of things needed to pack/clean/acquire. Im not 100% sure now that ill end up needing it at all, depending on how good of condition this free one is that I just ran into locally. There's a trip planned up that way later in the year (without the whole family/gear) that would be better for acquiring large parts along the way anyway.

Again my apologies for the late notice on this. :blackeye:
