So, IAC locals, do know that I am grabbing a pony.
Solar Flare ala Lucky Lab - sorry Westy78 - as it is a very nice warm weather drinking light beer, slightly hoppy, very flavorful.
It is also my first time getting it in a keg, as previous years didn't see this very nice weather needed for the brewing.

Not to side track this thread but I am putting a call out to anyone that might have this part they could part with:
http://i1355.photobucket.com/albums/q70 ... d2b58a.jpg
It is the guide bolt for the shift linkage and it came off an '81 vanagon. It got bent during an engine extraction.
It mounts on the transmission and I don't know if it is the same for earlier years though I think it may (at least mid 70's type 2).
Bring it if you can spare it.
Can't wait for the field of busses and nothin' to do but smile smile smile...
So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....

So sorry to hear the news. Indeed you will be missed. May the illness resolve to health.

Here have some crap!
Ride shotgun with Gypsie and come on out.
Washed the Westy and started getting ready by trying to find all the camping gear. Yikes, where did I hide it all?
