Itinerant Air-Cooled In Portland
Can we do a July 18th Lucky Lab on my way out? I am blistered with appointments and need to cram in a visit to Ruptured Duck/Beautiful Beetle. If I buy the Ruptured Duck, I need to make it road worthy for serious desert travel and that takes time too. Then I need to find a storage option for the BobD. Know what I mean?

Tell me more. You can see? I can't. I feel like I am tripping down the stairs collecting toys, the broom, that pile of laundry, a couple of pictures off the walls, and a couple of balusters on my way to a heap at the bottom of the stairs.ruckman101 wrote:Ah, the fog has lifted from my eyes.

Take some pictures we want to see!
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

A different thread referenced "or whatever I will be driving." Forgot about the Ruptured Duck. A very minor fog.

The Duck will not need much. Mike was very careful and meticulous. You are a lucky-duck.

Re: Itinerant Air-Cooled In Portland
Well this peanut showed up to gallery, uh, yesterday, to haunt Colin on his work day with Sluggo. Addressing wonky bits about the front suspension.
"Sorry son, we can't align this front end." was the diagnosis that brought the issue to bear.
They were deeply involved when I arrived.
Neighbors absorbed the parking influx without complaint.
Getting down to the crux of the biscuit.
Ya know these things have an orientation to them, blatantly ignored by that pesky previous owner.
And back together, spankin' new boots, but not without a rethink or two. Pesky physics.
Easier with two. The second side went much quicker, what with the prior experience of the first side you know.
Doesn't every addiction need a support group, cough cough, enablers, oh dang. Shhh.

How do you do that in the dirt next to the road? And I thought my conditions were austere here in Georgia on a blacktop! Good thing it was not raining!ruckman101 wrote:

Superb images! I feel like I'm right there, quaffing a diet Coke, smoking a Pall Mall plain and kibitzing, offering useless suggestions.
