The news is at it again.
I voted in the CNN poll after the debate on Monday and Ron Paul was ahead. On the news they used a different poll that only had 55 or so votes, showed Romney at 51% and Ron Paul at 0.
Here are several different takes

If we end up with blatant misinformation in the mainstream press, we are done for. I do like the churn of democracy, hopefully the wild wild web internet will still be able to serve us.steve74baywin wrote:The news is at it again.

Information is spinnable, as it always has been. We rely not on the news to be accurate, but to have varying viewpoints to balance one another out.Amskeptic wrote:If we end up with blatant misinformation in the mainstream press, we are done for. I actually am surprised they haven't done something to control the info most people have access to on the Internet. I probably see some little things, but I am surprised they haven't done more yet. (my conspiratorial mind at work)

Steve, did you see the Ron Paul interview this morning on The Today Show?
http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/video/ ... FORM=VIRE2
The interview addressed point that you make about polling. Maybe it's media spin or perhaps it's a true a reflection of the country, but people seem to like what Paul stands for up till a point. Less government, but more government for drugs, milk, and nation building.

Yes I did, via the DailyPaul website.
That is funny, a different network and two different polls.
People don't get the principle sometimes. Certain things that mean alot to them, that they have alot of feelings or emotions for, there okay with what I call "crossing the line" which leads to the "slippery slope" of bigger gov, less liberty. Sometimes just during a portion of there life what they want the government to control or not control changes, and it is always different for different people. They want it both ways. Eventually they will get it, you either observe rights, or watch them slowing go away.
