yes, that is alot so I wonder what they did..... All new sliders, dog teeth, main shaft, R&P, bearings????

Yes it was a lot of $$ (the aftermarket synchros were something like $600 each), but when it failed, there was not much really left that was good. It was almost a total rebuild. I even looked at a few used transmissions, but those had several unknown issues and without tearing any of those down and rebuilding them, I may have just been faced with the same problem again. My best option was to rebuild what I had.

I hope you are using Swepco 80-90wt gear oil to save those synchros!
