Colin,
I came across this 1973 Westy just outside of Pocatello. It’s parked in a lot next to a repair shop/car lot. I spoke with the shop owner and he says I can have the bus for $2,000.
Wishing you dry weather and warmth as you travel to Louisiana.
Jeff
Does the Westy have the factory dual carbs?
Yeah, so speaking of "dry weather" and "warmth", yes, NaranjaWesty was dry through the rain from New Mexico through eastern Louisiana, and the heater had plenty of reserve capacity.
Last exit in Texas was this one, on the second day after I passed Exit "0" at the El Paso city limit. Texas is big. Please remember that the plastic garbage patch in the middle of the Pacific is now twice the size of Texas. Tell your children. Then apologize:

"What is that," you ask, "what IS that?" Thanks for asking. That is a Saturn Five booster rocket laying on its side:
And that is the last damn photograph you get from the 2018 Itinerary Season. 22,000 miles since February 13th.
I am now in Pensacola. This miraculously fine NaranjaWesty was then treated to a deep cleaning here:
