Good news, the fast blinking on the driver's side turn signal has been remedied. Pulled the housing off the rear and cleaned up connections, and hit everything with some dialectic grease. all good now.

Bad news, i have another vacuum leak at the intake (manifolds, MANIFOLD GASKETS-ed) valves. Need to order some gaskets, and see if that does it. I just hit it with some carb cleaner, and the rpm's jumped. Ran out of daylight to see if it was just loose. Leaning towards just doing a smoke test for some peace of mind, and so i just fix it all at once instead of fixing one leak just to find the next one.

Scott

I await with bated breath. Please do very careful work at the intake manifold flanges. NOOooo dirt or little nuts or washers are allowed to accidentally fall into the intake ports, oh hail no. Keep count of every single nut and washer at all times! Scott!

I was planning on a little shop vac/wipe down of the engine compartment, so sounds like it is imperative that I do that, and do it prior to messing with intakes.

Being a Bills fan, I have a really hard time rooting for the Patriots. I am not denying that they are probably the greatest Coaching/QB combo of all time, I am just tired of them being there every year.

On the flip side, being a St. Louis native, I find it equally hard to root for the second team to bail on STL in my lifetime.
Guess I'll just DVR for the commercials, and go for a drive instead.

a) Good. Yes.

b) Oh absolutely, I hate it when skilled professional pilots keep landing the damn plane flawlessly time after time after time, when are we going to get to see a nice fireball?

When push comes to shove, I admire excellence above all else.
And yes, this country could be amazingly excellent in so many ways.
And that damn socialistic communistic "parity" in the NFL doesn't seem to be knocking down the Patriots worth a crap. You know why? They are actually a team, a team, a team. The new guys just step up.
I heard ex-Bills-coach Rex Ryan spewing yesterday, and I thought, he will never achieve excellence because he so narcissistic. He gets everybody on-board briefly with bluster, but collapses in the clutch.

An update, but it doesn't have to do with air or oil leaks.

Started replacing the upholstery in the bus. Still need to get the back cushions on the z-frame, and hoping to tackle the front buckets this weekend. Really stoked on how it is coming together.

Wow. I must step aside and watch your aesthetic unfold . . . it has its own unique inspiration and I am quite digging it.

I know exactly how it is going to look in my head. Just need to find the time (and money) to get it out into the ethos. My horsehair pads came in for the front buckets, so hopefully get to those this weekend. Been too cold to drive, so I am pretending that the air and oil leaks don't exist for the time being.
