Are you now a Montana Mountain Man, or still a corn-fed Iowa boy? Somehow I am asking.

In. Only need you my man. Any VW pony will do. Feel free to fit me in for a pre-itinerary warm-up stop if you are coming to or through the ATL. I will be in communication about current situation ASAP.

It's cold and snowy here in Western NY. Current temp, 18*. It's always cloudy here until late April.

Oh and what bus? I really like them all. Our bus did enjoy hanging out with another late westy though...

We are at 25 souls as of January 25th.

I will be heckling you all for your guess lists and I still don't know if it is going to be counterclockwise or clockwise yet.

Last time I camped in that car was Winter 2008 from December 27th through April. It was tight. I had a tunnel between the boxes with the rear seat folded down. It was a great little road car with excellent heat.

In*

Chloe gets my vote. Gotta keep the miles off the BobD so I can buy it before it hits 200k ;)

*Driving across the country again this Sping/Summer, meet you halfway?

I'm no cartographer, but halfway has to be close to the middle of Illinois.
With my luck, it's probably Peoria.

Well, get ready for a heavy warm up to the 2018 tour, here in Miami, in mid-February. Getting Marc and Eliana prepared for exoticdvm’s anticipated 25,000 mile birding trip to Alaska, and around. For those interested, see Facebook’s “Birding by Bus” page, for some preliminary activities. I think it’s going to prove an exciting, productive journey for a neat couple!

Definitely add me to the list again for this year. My rebuilt engine goes back in next month and I'm sure it'll need some fine tuning!
