Yes this is a very late post oh well...
The big task for the day turned out to be easier than I thought it would be. We installed a new starter the gear reduction starter from GoWesty, I believe they are exclusive to GoWesty. I began to have hot start issues and researched the option to put in a relay but decided to just try what they claim will absolutely fix this issue without the concerns of the relay going crazy. I have to say this starter is awesome I have not had an issue of it not starting all summer so that concern is behind me yippee. It really was an easy install... well I had already cleaned all the terminals because of the issues I had been having. Here is a picture of it in.
