No plans around now, things are still too chaotic around Mi Casa to pull it off. Currently, Mary and I are hoping to head south towards the end of November -- 11/23 to 12/3, stopping in Weaverville for Thanksgiving + a day because my parents, brother, sis-in-law and nephew(s) are there for the holiday, then heading to Sonoma County to see Mary's family in Guerneville and some other friends in the area for a few days before heading back north. I'm gonna try and get to San Francisco to visit with some friends I haven't seen in years but I'm not sure how/if that'll happen .. we'll see.
So .. yeah. Maybe next spring-ish? With the exception of Easter/Spring Break, "tourist season" doesn't really start until Memorial Day, and April is usually beautiful in that part of the state. Snow's gone but it hasn't dried out...
Patrick's Point is beautiful, but it's a damp foggy chilly place to take a bunch of Boy Scouts camping .. in tents .. in December. BTDT.
