Camp Reggae (formerly "Mouse Camp") 6/21-22/2011

Took the Boy on his first overnight camp out. He loved it! The site was named "Mouse Camp" by Hambone but Colin quickly renamed it "Camp Reggae" because of my bumper stickers and that we were blasting Reggae all day. Loads of FUN all day & night. Around bedtime he started asking for his bed but he quickly realized we were staying and passed out by the fire. Good site for family camping since it's close in, used quite a bit and not too treacherous but still beautiful and not a state camp site.

Mommy's glad to get a break.


Around 1AM Colin decided we were having too much fun without him and came back out to cuddle.


The next morning we hiked down to the Clackamas River. Colin found a clay pigeon to play with.







Looks like there could be some good fishing here.



Colin LOVED plying in the sand by the river.






He also loved the bridges.

1st right turn off on road 46 at the end of Clackamas Highway. You can tell the area is heavily used. We picked up lot's of trash.

Don't go renaming camps now.
It was the site of the 420 birthday camp a couple years ago. Thread in there someplace.
