Thanks man! Got my equipment. Just need a little shovel and it's not something I'd want to borrow.

Real easy. Take 26 to the 43. Go left and follow 8-10 miles or so. RIGHT BEFORE you cross the White River, there will be a big sandy turnout on your left, with a sign to Barlow Crossing. Directly opposite on your right is a road ... follow this. You'll go past White River Station campground (last ditch option if we need it) and about 2 miles futher you'll cross the White River. Keep going another 1/2 mile or so (you'll pass a couple well defined two tracks) and you'll see the turn off to the camp. The icon with the "bus" IS PLAN A! The icon with the teepee is plan b.... Last I was there there was a huge log that fell across the road 20 yards past the turn. There is a sign of some sort at the turn...we'll put up plates or something. Or Zane will sit there burning sparklers until you arrive.
Pardon my stupidity. From what I can see you take the 26 then it becomes the 35 then you turn on to an unnamed road then to Barlow Rd. Am I right? I have no sense of direction whatsoever.

Just got turned on to Otto's on Woodstock. Supposed to have a huge selection of home made sausage and craft beers & wine. I'll definitely stock up on all three.

Packed and ready. You guys waiting for me or should I just meet you out there?
Also, anyone bringing instruments or is it a lost cause with the weather? High in the low 50s and wet...I guess it wouldn't hurt to throw a geetar in there.
Found the '30s map for the area. And an abandoned trail too.

Bus is running much better...should get us there and back no problem...knock on wood.

Sluggo and all...there are NO GRAVEL ROADS until you make the turn off of 43 onto the old Barlow. No need to take 35. 26 over mount hood...take a left on 43 (sign to Wamic and Pine Hollow I believe) Follow this 6-8 miles until JUST BEFORE you cross the white river...turn right and follow to camp. My original directions and map should serve just dandy. If not, Spiffy and I and boys will have a grand time :geek: . Pray for dry weather!

Granted that he gets his 17 dumps in. If it were me, I'd grab a book and wait the extra couple of minutes. :pottytrain4:

You can go this way

Or this way. First way is shorter by a couple miles.
