I'm in, but just for Saturday night. I'll have to bring some homework to study, but at least I won't be stuck inside for the weekend. Probably won't stick around for the show.

Yep, we'll probably get there by early afternoon. I'll spend some time in the morning getting the bus ready. I'm hoping a little adjustment will fix the bus' new habit of grinding into reverse.

No driving until I get this fixed. I'll work on it Saturday morning and hope adjusting the cable fixes the problem. If so, I''m in. If not, I'm out.

I had a problem with the clutch like that. It got worse by the day, then I tightened the cable and it was fine, but a week later, after putting a few hundred miles on, the cable snapped. It was only a few years old. So, inspect the integrity of the cable if you have the time, and/or have a spare cable assembly handy after adjusting the length,in case you need it.

I think I have a spare if you think you can make it loco. Takes an hour or so to replace.

I'm out... I adjusted the clutch cable this morning and it didn't fix the problem getting into reverse.

Enjoy the camping chi, I hope this rain passes for you.

Did it rain again? I was not a good candidate for the short trip of about 60 miles (I guess) this saturday. That area is cool though. Hope it was a therapeutic rub on yer constitution to sit under some oaks, listen to the sounds, enjoy the cool temps, and check out the VW show. I wanna get out there. Maybe in October now. Kish!
