Windy, rainy, cold. Pretty awesome.

I bet the lake is a nice temp for a swim too. It usually is in October and the first part of November.

Have fun, we're outta here in a couple hours. Fall colors should be pretty good.

Wow! Breathtaking. Was the campground busy? I dig the old skool 10-speed bikes!

Maybe 1/2 - 3/4 full... unusual but I'm sure the weather brought people out. The group site(s) there would be pretty good for a get-together. They aren't really scenic but they are large, open, and flat. There was a little stream along side them. We should try to make it happen next year.

Can you picture a bunch of buses here?

We spotted two other busses(?) on the peninsula over the weekend. A tan 78 or 79 and a bus that reminds me of Manfreds.

That sure is a fine looking bus... glad you had a good weekend also. What are you doing drinking Michigan beer!!??! :drunken:

We're on the fence whether we should go again this weekend or not. Might be hard to pass up another nice weather situation this late in the game.

Thank you Sir!!...Don't worry, there was plenty o' point consumed by yours truly. We might make a Saturday afternoon campy at Bong this weekend. Can't be passing on the good stuff when it's here.

We did a bunch of hiking on the Peninsula this weekend. My favorite was between Cave Point and Whitefish dunes State Park...Here's a pic of us and the dogs near cave point.
