I have NG duty from 7-20 July so the 25-27 would work best for me.

Whoa! Looks amazing up there. Can you get to it from the Warm Springs side? I'd be willing to do some trekking in Totoro as soon as I get this clutch in next week.

Aha! Good thing I'm doing the clutch next weekend! I'll be planning my route and convincing Sommer that its a good idea to crawl forest roads in the mountains! Maybe a comprimise would be returning on real roads. :)

Check that googlemap link. There really aren't any "real" roads out there but a lot of the route is paved.

Aha! i googlemapped it and I've been out that way, not bad at all. I really thought it was farther from 26 than it really is. I used to always turn on road 32 and take it down to Salt Creek and then all the way to Trillium Lake and back up to 26. I thought we'd be going in the hard way and have to come out a different easier way, but this looks like cake. I think this one is a no brainer for us. A wonderful area to camp and with some guitars and other kids I think we'll be set. I think you'll see us there!

Looks like Bagby Hot Springs is a good side trip or if we go through Detroit was can hit it on the way. Very nice. There's another H.S. up there somewhere near Babgy but I don't remember what it's called.

I hear the easterlies are blowing pretty hard towards Walla Walla these days. Or at least that is what the little birdy told me. :geek:
