The grumpy old neighbor had it towed away while i was out of town. When i got back, i found out it had already been put on weekly public auction and sold for like $100 or something !! I got a phone call a few days later...some surfer dude was like 'dude, i bought your Bus on auction..can i get the keys from you ? ' . I gave him the keys and said 'Enjoy !' It seemed pointless to fight the flow of events.

Just guessing here, theory only, of course, but I'd bet there might be just a bit more going on here than you're letting on.
