So what's that five buses maybe by Sunday? Got the beer on ice.. see you guys a tad after 9ish.
The best navigators aren't sure where they're going until they get there. And then they're still not sure.

Ah but you see, a bus is not what you drive, it's who you are! Just don't make us look bad on the hills.

You're kidding right? Which is stronger? Which would destroy the other? A rock doesn't breath, soooo, smothering it is irrelevant! If you buy into this weak argument that paper could somehow be superior to rock then you might as well just accept everything the powers that be deem to be the "truth". It's doublethink at it most base level. Teaching a child not to think independently and critically but rather to simply accept a preposterous conclusion. I said it, and I stand by it. Paper should not beat rock.tristessa wrote:And maybe you could explain just *why* paper should not beat rock.

That's a liquid form of rock.LiveonJG wrote:Lava.bretski wrote:What should beat rock?
In keeping with the methodology of the game, since rock smashes scissors and scissors cut paper, perhaps dynamite would beat rock. But that opens the obvious question of what would beat dynamite, and how *that* would be defeated by paper.
Remember, only YOU can prevent narcissism!

No, under the conditions of the game, rock destroys scissors and scissors mutilate paper. No damage is done to rock and that is the point of contention I have with the entire premise of the game.Elwood wrote:Excuse me for lurking on your space, but is not the game played, that paper COVERS rock and there for made invisable?
Hal, good point about lava, I hadn't really thought about that. But then wouldn't dynamite be another form of rock as well? As would anything made of any mineral. Along these lines, scissors can no longer be a part of the equation. What we need is something like an Ent. An Ent would beat rock and an Ent is not composed of rock. The inclusion of Ents would then eliminate paper. Ent's can be defeated by fire and a rock can smother a fire.
Therefore I suggest the game be renamed Rock, Fire, Ent. I will leave it to wiser minds to develop the hand gestures for fire and Ent.

The campout was fun!!!! A real experience... though some details will have to remain untold.
I had to bug out early on Sunday, but Saturday the weather was great and we had a nice time playing lots of tunes and picking up trash and drinking lots of beers.
It was fun to take my non Westy for once and Charlie was ready to go.
[albumimg]851[/albumimg]
Then the caravan of buses, van and pickup got off the highway and prepared to tackle the backwoods forrest road.
[albumimg]852[/albumimg]
I settled in to a campspot very soon
[albumimg]853[/albumimg]
There was no one around.. except a stray motorcyle and gunshot now and then.
[albumimg]854[/albumimg]
Jasan made a sign so Chachi would find us.
[albumimg]855[/albumimg]
Hambone sat for 5 minutes the whole trip.. but spent most of his time exploring, fidgeting, picking up trash, or singing.
Thanks guys!
