Well I'm still trying to figure out WHERE but WHEN has been determined. Sluggo needs to get his "VW" in there, so that limits things, unless someone can pick his ass up.
Really, thinking about Rho Ridge, up above the lower winter camp that we all know so well.
EH?

224 to Ripplebrook
46
63 turn right
pass 70
about 3.5 miles LEFT on 6350
stay on 6350 for about 6 miles
at GRAHAM PASS - LEFT on 4670
Bear Camp will be on the right, about 1.5 miles

Keep an eye out for that orange hubcap.

Not gonna make it. I'm gonna be at home, moving 5 yards of gravel into the backyard one wheelbarrow load at a time...

First right after you go down Abbot Road. Maybe 1/4 mile? It's a narrow camp-road that opens up into a nice open place.

It would be interesting to continue "down trail" from where we left off at Linney. There will be skeeters though, July in the High Country. This was "plan B" for Linney BTW.

I'd prefer less skeeters if possible. Seems like a meadow might be a breeding ground if there's any moisture?
Which spot has more space?

Probably won't get out until Friday, if anyone is still going to this thing.

That's what I did for Linney, 11:30 I got in! So lost in the dark, it all looks the same...
Depends on how long Hal works me. If it's all day, then probably Fri AM. Are you staying until Monday?

Thanks, Jasan man that was a special one...
No other cars the entire time. Nobody encountered on the way out, 20 miles of Mt. Hood NF. More history than I could ever figgure out.
I am in love with a geographical place. It is all nonsense. Flowers! And flowers in my mind.
