Lookin slow at the shop, might get out there before midnight. But knowing the way things work, five tow trucks will show up at 4:30 and I'll be there Saturday at noon....

What a great trip!!! Thank you all.
Gloom and fog until Blue Box Pass, then POP sunshine over frosted Mt. Hood.
Somehow the trip home was an hour less...same route, probably more downhill going home.

ahh, my almond joy wakeup call. the volvo is blocking the road. yes - that's a legit road. eventually someone with sense wanted to share the road. that's when he walked over, borrowed my tow rope and got yanked on the other side. i'd say he was playing spinning wheels and steaming his engine for about a half hour. feller walked back over, returned the line, and splashed out the way he splashed in. sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.

better photo of the road w/o traffic is in the mix above.

He didn't want fire, didn't want coffee... Took a belt o' bourbon and three more icy baths and was on his way back home. Definitely not a Mounds guy...

Wait'll Mike gets the vid up.
