In other news, my Forest Service buddy said he's gonna give me a ton of old maps of the Willamette NF from the 20's-on in digital form.

Wish I coulda. Had to make a last minute trip to SF to see some friends and hug my mom, who had just spent 14 hours in the ER after her first dose of an experimental radiation treatment resulted in blinding pain. She's a strong woman though, by the time I surprised her by appearing in her kitchen when she got home from church, she was all smiles and "Mom", forcing me to eat everything in her fridge and gloating about beating the Mittster and all the "creepy old men" that were running for various offices.
