October could work for me maybe. Schedule opening for a breath there or here. September late, I do like the early fall, are those Chantrelles? Haven't visited that neck of the woods in a coon's age or longer. There were weird politics around Cougar thirty years ago. Sigh, some things never change. Used to live locally near the Dexter Lake Club back then. On Rattlesnake Drive as I recall. Oh that wayback machine.

Currently overwhelmed with no ability to ascertain schedule beyond tomorrow. Give me a week or two.

Went up there on sunday. Lovely little lightning storm to cool things down. Now there are some spot fires around, but they claim to be no-biggie. We'll see.

Well, I am close by and don't have anything on my weekend agenda this month other than slowly building a 1776 for the Ghia, so whatever's clever.

Guessing the weekends of 20th or 27th are most likely, so y'all squabble amongst yourselves and let me know.

The 27th looks the most promising to me. Who's bringing the electric Koolaid?
How long of a drive from Portland?

Not my pics, but here are some shots from the trail between the lake and the shelter about 2-3mi away.
