It seems a shame to lose our illustrious 4/20 date but I can live with it.
Pot Creek is EZ. 46 past Ripplebrook to Big Bottom. First gravel left past 42. All paved. :sunny:

Now don't you go changing locations cause you think folk will be hesitant to try some cross country travel.

Wide eyes and fluttering hearts do not mean there was less enjoyment. In fact I think it works the other way round.

Keep the wild roads on the list.

We'll continue discussing clear signage...

The 27-29th is pushing it right after a vacation but I plan on pushing a father daughter getaway plan. We'll see if the colder weather still has the fam out of the camping spirit.
So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....

4/20 at Pot Creek is my vote! I'll try to make it if you choose the 28th but might not be able to if I get this job.

4/20 at Pot creek is one that feels like it should not be missed. It is also birthday weekend for Hambone (he's gonna be 614 this year...) and Hal.

I forgot: Eva has a school field trip on the 20th that I volunteered for (since we changed the date to the 28th.............).
I can either bow out gracefully from the field trip, or leave on Friday afternoon (and maybe come back Monday or Tues), or we can do it the 28th.
Hal's not making it, too many projects at home. Wanker.
This time I'm sleeping away from the fire ring so I can get some sleep in the morning, pesky early risers! I am a beast in the morning before my tea.

Friday would work for me. I could spend the night at Harriet on Thursday and you could meet me there Friday morning.

I'm workin the 21st. The fire ring is all yours.
Janelle and I are thinking of going the following weekend, so leave the place neat, tidy, and the trail well marked.

No of course you didn't piss me off, apologies. Late night hijinx make for solemn mornings. But it's true, I'm not a morning person. It's my "alone time". Those that know me find it endearing. Yep.

"so leave the place neat, tidy"
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA??!?!!?? HOW DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHREEE YOU SIRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHH!
(we will leave our...leavings though, yes properly buried)

Next trip, next month to Grouse Huxley Camp. One hell of a road, you will earn your bus pilot wings on that one. Drops you right into Roaring River country. Those of you who can't make it, try to make that one IF YOU DARE.

It would be fun to take a bus camp out in the Ochocos east of Prineville. There is an area called Lookout Mountain that I've been wanting to see, old growth Ponderosa Pines for miles, open and parklike underneath. Maybe in the summer. I've been nearby but not to Lookout. Gorgeous of course.

Ha! That'll need an adjustment when you get Green Cascadia off the ground. Last to bed, first one up with coffee ready and an enthusiastic smile when your clients get up.
