I freeze my nalgene water bottles, and then use those in the cooler. Stuff doesn't get wet, and you get ice cold drinking water.

That's a good one. I've done that a few times. Plastic milk jugs filled with water and frozen work well too.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.

Okay yous guys....we went out to Walla Walla last weekend to see the balloon stampede, really cool event and the drive on route 7 and 12 covers the whole backside of Rainier...the area we have been talking about going to. Well, now we just gotta...unbelievable wilderness and perfect bus hardball roads to get to the forest service roads.....here are a few pics:

Oh, no, subliminal, messages, on balloons! Can't resist. I want to go gambling! That is one nice trip Spiffy. I would find it hard to leave!
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

I think you would like the area up there, lots o' FS roads shooting off into CRAZY wilderness. I think it could be a candidate for a Hambone approved camping spot er 10. PM me an email and I will send you few pics if ya' want.

Luckily the casino was just a sponsor! Plus it was 85* out there on Saturday, that felt good on my pasty NW batooty. AHHHHH VITAMIN D!!!

not to hijack a hijacked thread, but another thing I've done when out with another westy is we park parallel to each other, doors facing in, and put a GIANT tarp (the white ones so the lighting isn't kooky.) over both tops. Where I live it rains A LOT, so tarps are a must. This way we have a large covered "living/dining room", and the tarp is well up out of the way. No driving away though. :cyclopsani:
Love your bus.
