I found a bellhousing...now I need a spare wiring harness. Can't use MZ's because I need her in the mean time.

Does anyone know where the heck to get a working one? I'm taking the spare engine in next Tuesday for testing.

If you cannot get a harness and a fuel pump and a filter and a safe gas supply (and exhaust if needed) for a running test, you can still check the oil on the dipstick for level and cleanliness, pull the plugs in the spare engine, squirt a little oil down the spark plug holes and run a starter on the bell housing to get oil pressure. Then do a compression test. You gots the pluck and perseverence, Misszora.

So I'm thinking about having a Sunday brunch engine moving gathering of sorts. fruit, maybe pancakes or waffles & mimosas. I just need a few hands to help me lift the engine from the backyard back into MZ to transport it out to the shop that has the bellhousing. I will need to do the reverse once I get back if the engine is good so I can get it up on an engine stand and clean it and replace hoses, etc. And of course, back in again when it's time for the engine swap. whew!!! Maybe we can have a celebratory BBQ???

Anyone available Sunday? It won't take long at all.

Sundays are no good for me. I had a few months where I didn't have to work that day, then someone else's irresponsibility shit on my life again...

It is back in MZ. Taking to M&M on Tuesday for an engine test.

OK. Spare engine was deemed DOA. Metal crunching, flopping crank shaft, blah, blah, blah, However, I might be able to get some good parts out of it.

So if you missed out on the opportunity to get some weight lifting in this week, I need 3 people to help me move the spare engine out of MZ again and into the backyard. I'd really love to get the exhaust off and get it up on the engine stand this time. It may take about an hour. I'm available from 2-6 today (Wednesday), after 2pm on Friday, most of the day/evening on Saturday and Sunday early evening.

I've been wishing that my super power was the ability to lift heavy objects and remove welding and rusted engine parts with ease...hasn't come true yet...yet.
