We had about 25 buses in attendance. Mine is the orange Riviera in the foreground and bradgt74's bus is the orange 1970 Westy right next to it. Both of our buses made their first appearances at this show's 25th anniversary. I wonder what a VW show would have looked like in 1986, before the Twins won the world series for the first time.
The winner of the air-cooled bus class was our friend, Keri Williamson's tintop Westy. We heard reports via Facebook that something related to her clutch/transmission broke down just south of Duluth on her way back to the Iron Range. Note Keri's cool airbrushed VW & Flowers emblem.
It was a family event!
