When I think of fun, I instantly think:
"EFFINGHAM!!!!!! Hell's yeah dude!!!!"

I kid, having never been there. But I am funny though.

I know, right? Right on, right on.

How's that for original vernacular.
A man said to the universe, "Sir I exist! "However," replied the universe, "the fact has not created in me a sense of obligation."

"Let me be perfectly clear" "[...] And so that was just a example of a new senator, you know, making what is a political vote as opposed to doing what was important for the country." Barry Sotero

I was there on Saturday. I was glad to see they went back to the original format of having all the VWs line up out in the field for display. The last time I went, if you weren't part of a club, they stuck you in the corner.

The swap meet had plenty of vendors, the camping area was nearest the highway to show off all the buses, and the clubs were lined up on the other side of the swap meet.

All in all, one of the better ones they've had, in my opinion.

But was it hot... record highs in IL and IN. It was still 95 F at 6 PM on our way home, but the humidity was oddly low in the 50% range. You could alternate between looking at the VWs and then relaxing in what little shade there was and make it bearable.
