If anyone was planning on going to the Las Vegas Bugorama in 2011, make other plans - the event is not happening.

:shaking:

For whatever reason it's not on the schedule.

There is still the Town Square show on Saturday though.

EZ. did you ever go in the past? Did anyone here? If so how was it? Could Colin go to an event such as this to drum up business?

"Say buddy, now that you have purchased that 40 year old Bus, you may want my card and services."

(Colin hands over card, then shows just what they have purchased)

I have gone to the last 5 Vegas Bugoramas, Not too many Bays ever show up. I think last year there were 5 of us. :bom: One year there were only 2...
Not exactly the setting for Colin to promote his business.

I believe Colin does a lot of VW's. Would it behoove Colin to wander such a facility and work on things?

I don't believe it would be in his best interest to hit these kind of shows, but you never know.

I don't really shill for business. Never did it that way. I mingle, converse, they ask what I do for a living, they decide quite on their own if it would be good to brush up on their own maintenance. I have never handed out a business card. I don't have any.
Sometimes I will help a Beetle get rid of a flat spot, win a customer.
Sometimes I will accidentally fix the Rocky Mountain Motorworks sacrificial fingerpaint bus-before-crusher for the kids and somebody else says, I want that thing, runs good!
