IMHO it wasn't worth the $15 entry fee. Very few parts really that were any good.

Boss-man thinks I'm gonna wake up a 5am on Saturday to go up there with him. Ha! Maybe if I don't sleep tomorrow night. But I probably should. I've kinda forgotten to do that this week.
"Live life, love life. Enjoy the pleasures and the sorrows. For it is the bleak valleys, the dark corners that make the peaks all the more magnificent. And once you realize that, you begin to see the beauty hidden within those valleys, and learn to love the climb." - Anonymous

$15 isn't bad, maybe the site is expensive to rent?
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

We were thinking of going, but just to search the swap meet for beetle related stuff.
I'm looking for beetle specific: mirrors, bumper parts, oil bath setup, windshield, autostick starter, and that's all I can think of now...

Hey, did anyone stick around for the races. Halse yAutomotive, (one of our PDX parts suppliers), Tim won in his class (not sure what that was).
He's the quiet one at the far end of the parts desk (he sits where Willy used to). Not the sharpest knife in the drawer but he knows his way around VW's. He's reliable for parts info and last minute purchases over the phone with the parts stashed in the brush outside so he can close up on time...Done that once or twice).
